Fabio Fernandes is the Director of Marketing Communications at the Consumer Choice Center, where he leads advocacy campaigns that make consumer voices heard in the rooms where policy is made.
Born in Brazil and educated in São Paulo and Milan, Fabio has spent 17 years working across four continents — building brands, managing campaigns, and navigating the intersection of communications, policy, and public opinion in some of the world’s most complex markets.
His career has taken him from the trading floors of Citibank Brazil to the corridors of the European Parliament and Washington. Along the way, he has worked alongside Olympic committees, multinational corporations, and policymakers across Europe, Latin America, and the United States.
At the Consumer Choice Center, Fabio’s work has been covered by Fox Business, Business Insider, U.S News and World Report, The Tennessean, Yahoo News, Monitor Mercantil, Valor Econômico, and outlets across four continents.
He holds a Master’s Degree in International Relations and is fluent in English, Portuguese, and Italian.
