POLICY FELLOW
Israr Hasan is currently working as freelance journalist and researcher. He recently completed his undergraduate studies from BRAC University in Bangladesh majoring in Economics with a minor in Anthropology.
Since 2019, Israr has been the Regional Coordinator of Bangladesh in the South Asian chapter of Students for Liberty, the world’s largest pro-liberty students’ organization. Israr is a regular contributor to Bangladesh’s leading English daily, the Daily Star, where he contributes to writing on film/book reviews, lifestyle, fashion, and technology.
Israr has been the named the Top Global Leader and invited to Liberty Con 2020. His hobbies are reading, writing, playing music, and origami.
