The Consumer Choice Center and the World Affairs Council of Orange County are excited to invite you to Gambling on Law: The Growing Problem of Third-Party Litigation Funding. This unique networking event will begin with a cocktail hour at 5:30 PM, followed by the main program from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM.

The discussion will focus on how third-party litigation funding is injecting large sums of money into the judiciary system, turning legal cases into high-stakes gambles with the rule of law. Major cases that attract significant media attention or involve large financial sums are often targeted by these funds, and their involvement can sometimes influence the outcome of verdicts.

The Pacific Club’s dress code defined as “California Business Casual” is strictly enforced. Athletic attire, shorts or “cut-offs”, flip flops, beach sandals, and tennis shoes are considered inappropriate.

It is required the Club’s dress code policy is passed on to all guests. Any guests wo do not comply with the club policy will not be allowed to enter the club.
