Head of Digital & Innovation Policy
Egle Markeviciute is a public affairs specialist and the Head of Digital & Innovation Policy at the Consumer Choice Center.
Egle has over 14 years of experience in political campaigning, public affairs, advocacy, and the public sector.
Before joining the Consumer Choice Center, she served as a Deputy Minister at the Ministry of Economy & Innovation of Lithuania, where she was responsible for reforms in digital, innovation, and space policy sectors.
From 2020 to 2023, Egle also held positions as a Board Member at the Innovation Agency Lithuania, the E-Health Board at the Ministry of Health, and the Lithuanian Research Council under the Ministry of Education, Science and Sport.
Between 2017 and 2020 Egle worked as a registered lobbyist, and between 2012 and 2017 she was an active political campaign manager in Lithuania.
Egle holds a Political Science BA and an East European and Russian Studies MA from Vilnius University’s Institute of International Relations and Political Science.
She is also the co-author of the futurological book “Lietuva 2120” (“Lithuania 2120”), which explores future political scenarios for Lithuania.
