Prime Minister Mark Carney has spent much of his tenure so far reversing Trudeau-era policies that proved politically toxic or economically counterproductive.
His first act as prime minister was zeroing the consumer carbon tax. He suspended the oil and gas emissions cap, paused the electric vehicle mandate and reversed Justin Trudeau’s capital gains tax increase.
