These days consumers have better and wider access to air travel, long distance buses, trains and safer cars. Innovation and smart regulation promises to bring consumers even better services brought by the sharing economy, autonomous vehicles, or novel technologies such as e-scooters. We think that a technology neutral regulatory framework leads to the best outcomes for consumers. At the same time we are concerned about policymakers pushing for certain technologies to be the champions of the future and dictating consumers what mode of transport they have to use.
