Deimantė Rimkutė


Having felt an intrinsic affection for politics, law, philosophy since the early days, Deimantė started actively interning at such institutions as the Parliament of the Republic of Lithuania & Lithuanian Free Market Institute since the young age of 16. Soon after that, Deimantė got involved in Lithuanian Pupils’ Parliament, Lithuanian Liberal Youth, European Students for Liberty, Lithuanian Youth Council where she undertook leading positions in regional, national and international policymaking. 
Currently, Deimantė is studying law at Vilnius University, writing articles for various Lithuanian news outlets, such as 15min, delfi and Bernardinai.lt as well as representing European Liberal Youth as a campaigns and training officer at LYMEC – a pan-European youth organisation seeking to promote liberal values throughout the EU. 
In 2019, Deimantė got elected as Vilnius City Councillor becoming the youngest person in Vilnius history to hold this office.
